Dr Tim Crook is a consultant in Medical Oncology Specialising in management of breast cancer, advanced skin cancer and urological oncology. He received BSc (1981) and PhD (1986) degrees from the University of London and subsequently pursued a career in cancer research. He qualified in Medicine at St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London School of Medicine in 2000 and obtained the MRCP in 2005. He obtained CCT in Medical Oncology from the London Deanery in 2010 and has been a consultant medical oncologist since then. He continues to actively participate in basic, translational and clinical research with particular interest in mechanisms of metastasis, metabolic abnormalities in cancer, novel therapeutics and precision oncology. He has authored more than 120 primary research studies in peer-reviewed journals including Nature, Nature Genetics, Cell, Cancer Cell, Cancer Research and The Lancet.
