GMC reg: 2837389My undergraduate medical training was at Cambridge University and then my postgraduate, clinical training was at Oxford University. Having completed my training in General Medicine, I commenced my specialist training in cardiology at the National Heart & Royal Brompton hospitals in London. I completed my MD thesis, under the auspices of Cambridge University, studying various aspects of heart failure. I was appointed to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital as a consultant cardiologist in November 1994. I have lectured extensively in the UK & abroad.
