This information is provided by Winfield Hospital.
Winfield Hospital is one of Gloucestershire's leading private hospitals, located on the outskirts of the City of Gloucester. It is situated off the Northern Ring Road with excellent road and rail links. The hospital opened in 1992 and currently has 39 beds including thirty four single rooms all with en-suite facilities. The completion of an extensive £1.5 million refurbishment, a few years ago and investment in advanced medical technology ensures Winfield Hospital retains its reputation for delivering high quality care in a clean and friendly environment. There are three fully equipped theatres, with ultra clean air technology, which are particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures such as arthroscopy, hip and knee replacement and spinal procedures. The refurbished recovery area has doubled in size and benefits from the latest technology. A new dedicated endoscopy suite is our most recent addition. We have successfully achieved JAG accreditation this year. Treatments at the hospital include hip and knee replacements, cataract surgery, spinal surgery and varicose vein treatments through to cosmetic procedures, such as breast enlargement, rhinoplasty, liposuction and Gynaecomastia (male breast). All procedures are consultant led and you will see the same consultant from your very first out patient appointment through to surgery.
