The Ulster Independent Clinic (UIC) is the leading private hospital in Northern Ireland, with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality patient care, treatments and services. The Clinic has 70 patient beds, 8 theatres, self-contained decontamination and sterilisation unit (HSDU), Outpatient Department, Breast Care/Chemotherapy Nurse Service, Physiotherapy Department, Cellular Pathology Laboratory, Cardiac Investigation Service, Respiratory Service and X-ray Department, including Dexa, CT and MRI.  UIC is a company limited by guarantee and had charitable status. The Clinic is proud of its history and as such, undertakes an external review of quality through the CHKS Healthcare Accreditation to sustain the Clinic's reputation for healthcare excellence.   We have over 300 consultant specialists available for consultation six days a week, including dedicated services for children. The patient is at the centre of all decisions made within the Clinic.
