Spire Manchester Hospital’s purpose-built site in Didsbury opened in 2017, after a move from the previous hospital in Whalley Range. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of services and facilities including specialist treatment for complex orthopaedic and spinal surgery. For patients undergoing complex surgical procedures there is a critical care unit, managed by specialist nurses. Spire Manchester is situated approximately 20 minutes from Manchester city centre, Piccadilly and Victoria railway stations, and only 10 minutes from Manchester International Airport. The hospital has 71 private rooms, including six paediatric bedrooms, all with televisions and free WiFi connectivity.
