Proton International London is part of Proton International, an organisation with over 30 years’ experience in treating patients with proton beam therapy (PBT) in the USA. Bringing unmatched expertise in this advanced and highly precise cancer treatment, Proton International has supported communities worldwide in providing access to PBT.  In the UK, we are proud to partner with University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH). Proton International London hosts one of the UK’s two proton beam therapy centres and is currently the only private PBT centre in the country. Globally, proton beam therapy is among the most advanced cancer treatment technologies available. However, access remains limited for many communities. Through our collaboration with UCLH, we are working alongside first-class clinical teams to extend the availability of private proton beam therapy to patients who may benefit from this precision-targeted treatment in the UK.  Proton beam therapy is a sophisticated form of radiation therapy. It delivers a highly targeted dose to the tumour while limiting exposure to surrounding healthy tissues, which may reduce the risk of damage to normal tissues. This approach can result in fewer long-term side effects and an improved quality of life for patients diagnosed with cancer.
