Located on the outskirts of Colchester, the hospital opened on this site in 1994 and currently has 40 bedrooms including three twin-bedded rooms all with en-suite facilities to ensure complete privacy throughout your stay. All consultants undergo rigorous vetting procedures, ensuring only those who are qualified and experienced are granted practising privileges which are reviewed on a regular basis.> By investing in the latest advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. It has four operating theatres, which are fully equipped with laminar flow ventilation, endoscopy suite and a minor ops room provides a safe and effective service for patients requiring surgical and minimally invasive procedures on a day care basis. An 11-bay Ambulatory Care Unit is now in service and is fully equipped to cater for patients undergoing short surgical procedures where a bedroom or overnight stay is not required. This facility ensures patients spend a reduced amount of time at the hospital, where clinically appropriate, and can return to their normal activities as soon as possible. Oaks recent CQC inspection 2024 was rated good.
