Oaklands Hospital

Oaklands Hospital is a purpose built, modern hospital providing a wide range of surgical and medical treatments to private patients and eligible NHS patients. Located in Salford, the hospital is within easy reach of the M61 Junction 3, the A580 Liverpool-East Lancashire road and the M602 Junction 2. In 2015 the hospital underwent a £5m refurbishment and extension to provide the local area with more capacity for quick access to treatment. The hospital now has three operating theatres, a minor operations theatre and endoscopy suite together with upgraded private, en-suite bedrooms for overnight stays. A new dedicated daycare unit provides treatment for patients who are with us for only a few hours - this consists of private rooms and enables patients to be discharged as soon as they are able and confident to leave us. The hospital provides surgery to over 6000 patients each year, offering quick access to highly experienced Consultant Surgeons who deliver each patient's care from first consultation through treatment to final follow-up. Treatments available cover a wide range of specialities inc breast surgery, cosmetic surgery, dental surgery, dermatology, ENT, general surgery, gynaecology, orthopaedic and spinal surgery, physiotherapy, podiatric surgery and urology supported by on-site MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-ray and Dexa bone density scanning.
