Nuffield Health Shrewsbury Hospital opened in 1965 and is a well established part of the local community. The hospital is conveniently situated on the south western outskirts of Shrewsbury, close to the town centre, the railway station and key main roads. The hospital is purpose built and well equipped with thirty ensuite bedrooms, three operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an Ambulatory Care Unit, pharmacy, pathology, physiotherapy, x-ray, ultrasound, mobile MRI, mobile CT, and an Out-patient Department. Please note that the hospital does not admit, diagnose or treat any patients under the age of 18, on an In, Day, or Outpatient basis. Nuffield Health are a not for profit organisation, with all profits reinvested to improve the facilities and services we offer.
