Situated in 14 acres of quiet, landscaped parkland two miles south of Salisbury, the Georgian Manor House was opened as a hospital in 1980 and currently has 33 patient beds. By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. The fully equipped ultra clean air theatre suite is particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures such as hip and knee replacements and is a major centre for elective spinal surgery. The day unit caters for a wide range of minor operations and endoscopy. The diagnostic facilities include x-ray, MRI scanners and mobile CT scans. Treatments at the hospital also include cataract removal, hernia repair, varicose vein surgery, hysterectomy, prostate surgery and plastic surgery. The hospital has an on-site private GP service offering same day or next day appointments.
