Kat and Co is Birmingham's leading Plastic Surgery Day Clinic. The purpose-built Clinic is situated within the heart of Edgbaston Medical Quarter, one of Europe’s premier medical district.  The clinic was founded by Mrs Chien C Kat, Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. Over the past 12 years, she has grown the clinic from a single surgeon practice to a thriving day surgery centre with 7 Cosmetic Surgeons, Aesthetic Doctor, Aesthetic Nurse, Aesthetic Dentists and Skin Therapists. We provide the full spectrum of non-surgical and surgical treatments to meet the individual needs of all our patients. We have a purpose built Day Surgery Centre with a Day Surgery Suite, 4 Consulting rooms, 1 Laser room, 1 IV Therapy room, 1 Dental room and 2 Skin Therapy rooms. The Day Surgery Suite has a fully integrated admission/discharge ward and operating theatre. The clinic is easily accessed by road, train and air. Patients and relatives have access to an array of world class accommodations, restaurants and other services within Edgbaston Village.  We have a robust clinical governance structure overseen by a Responsible Officer (LCS Healthcare), Clinic Director, Medical Director, Finance Director, Director of Anaesthesia and Dental Services, Non Surgical Services Lead, Clinic Manager and Deputy Clinic Manager. We are regulated by CQC. Mrs Chien C Kat, Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon is the founder of the Clinic and it's current Clinic Director. She has intentionally devolved the Medical Director role to Ms Gabrielle Downey, an independent retired Consultant Gynecologist, to avoid conflict of interest with regards to decisions about clinical and financial matters.
