Inpatients rooms are single occupancy – light and with en-suites as standard. Parkside Heatherwood specialises in all aspects of Orthopaedic and Ophthalmology elective procedures, and operations take place in clean air theatres. The hospital’s operating theatres are fully equipped to undertake a wide range of surgeries, including specialised orthopaedic procedures which are carried out in our clean-air theatre. Consultants provide private service to you alongside their work within the main hospital. Their own specialist teams support them with back-up from nurses and therapists. Your consultant is always available to see you in an emergency situation with all the hospital services on-site, it is very rare for patients be transferred for additional treatment.
