Epsom Day surgery occupies the upper part of the Old Cottage Hospital in Epsom. The building originally dates from 1889 and was the predecessor of the current district general hospital on Ashtead Road. It was built to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. It was officially opened by Princess Mary of Teck. It was completely rebuilt internally in 1994 and fitted out as a day surgery, one of the first of its kind in the country. There is free patient parking on site and additional off road parking in adjacent roads.
