Duchy Hospital is Cornwall's only private hospital with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare treatments and services. Duchy Hospital was opened in 1981 by the late HRH Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother and is located in a pleasant rural setting on the outskirts of Truro. By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. The three fully equipped ultra clean air theatres are particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures such as arthroscopy, hip replacement and knee replacements. We are also now able to offer spinal surgery. Other facilities include a day case theatre with endoscopy facilities, and a state of the art cardiac catheter laboratory.
