GMC reg: 3608889I am an experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist and practice at Spire Hartswood Hospital, Brentwood, Essex. As the Clinical Director of the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme (South Essex), I lead one of the largest centres in UK. Also, I am the Clinical Lead for Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Video Capsule Endoscopy at Basildon University Hospital. I have performed more than 4000 diagnostic/therapeutic colonoscopies and 5,000 gastroscopies (diagnostic and therapeutic). My Key Performance Indicators for both clinical and endoscopic work have been consistently very high. My husband is a Consultant Cardiologist and I am the proud mother of two grown up sons who are in the Civil Service.
