I work as a Consultant Vascular Surgeon at The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with private consultations and operations provided in the private sector. I only consult and operate on a private basis at St Ellen's Hospital in Livingston. I trained in Dundee as an undergraduate and formal higher surgical training in Edinburgh. I was appointed as a Consultant Vascular Surgeon in 2002. I have a varied clinical practice in the NHS undertaking Emergency, Urgent and Elective surgery. My private practice deals with varicose veins that are both symptomatic and cosmetically unacceptable to patients. I perform all types of keyhole varicose vein procedures including Laser, Radiofrequency, Foam sclerotherapy and Microsclerotherapy for thread veins.
