Dr Yong Oon

Dr Oon is a Consultant Dermatologist and Mohs surgeon at the Royal Devon University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in Exeter and also works at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton. Dr Oon manages all aspects of dermatological presentations and has expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of various conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, urticaria, complex rashes, acne, rosacea and pigmentary skin disorders as part of his general dermatology practice. His specialty interest is in the early diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer and precancerous conditions of the skin. He is a dermatological surgeon who carries out advanced procedures such as skin flap and graft reconstructions. Dr Oon graduated from the University of Aberdeen and has worked for the NHS in both Scotland and England. He trained as a dermatologist in the South West of England and went on to complete a fellowship in advanced skin procedures and Mohs micrographic surgery at the Welsh Institute of Dermatology in Cardiff which is regarded as one of earliest established Mohs training fellowships in the UK.
