Ms Wei Min Henrietta Ho

Dr Henrietta Ho is a consultant ophthalmologist at St Thomas’ Hospital, London. She treats general and urgent ophthalmic conditions and specializes in the management of glaucoma and cataract surgery. Her interests include glaucoma laser therapy, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and glaucoma filtration surgery for primary, secondary and complex glaucoma. After she graduated from King’s College London, Dr Ho completed specialty residency training at the Singapore National Eye Centre, during which she was awarded the Ministry of Health Training Award. She undertook subspecialty glaucoma training in London at St Thomas’ Hospital before being appointed as a consultant in the glaucoma department. She is on the ophthalmology subspecialty register in both the United Kingdom and Singapore. Dr Ho helped to set up and lead the glaucoma community service at St Thomas’ Hospital. She is also involved in the teaching and training of glaucoma fellows, trainee ophthalmologists and medical students, and is a member of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists microsurgical skills faculty. She has a keen interest in ophthalmology research and has been a principal investigator for clinical trials and a recipient of research grants. Dr Ho was awarded the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) International Travel Grant, the European Association for Vision and Eye Research (EVER) Best Free Paper and Travel Grant, the NORR Eye Foundation Award for best free paper and MJSO second prize for best poster award. She is an invited speaker for international ophthalmology conferences and has published book chapters on glaucoma and more than 25 peer reviewed journal articles. Dr Ho takes pride in providing holistic and personal care for all patients. She practices out of St Thomas’ Hospital and the Kersley Eye Clinic in London.
