Mr Vijay Wagh – Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon Mr Vijay Wagh is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, London , with specialist expertise in cataract surgery, oculoplastic surgery and external eye disease . He provides assessment and treatment for a wide range of general and emergency eye conditions. His specialist practice includes cataract surgery , as well as oculoplastic surgery , covering conditions affecting the eyelids, tear drainage system and surrounding structures of the eye. His areas of particular expertise include eyelid lumps and lesions, ptosis (droopy eyelids), dermatochalasis and functional eyelid surgery, eyelid malpositions such as entropion and ectropion, and lacrimal surgery for patients with persistent watery eyes or blocked tear ducts.
