Mr Elsaify trained in all aspects of Endocrine (Thyroid, Parathyroid, Adrenal) and Breast surgery at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle- upon -Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He then spent a year as a fellow in endocrine and breast surgery at the Nightingale Centre University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust. Currently Mr Elsaify runs a wide-ranging general surgery practice in the NHS based at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesborough, where he has been employed as a fully accredited consultant breast, endocrine and general surgeon since 2011. He is also the lead clinician for endocrine surgery. He has performed over a thousand thyroid and parathyroid procedures. His special interests are in Breast disorders, Breast lumps, Breast pain and Management of Breast cancer. Mr Elsaify works closely with a team of endocrinologists to offer a multidisciplinary approach to thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal dysfunction. Mr Elsaify routinely performs gallbladder removal surgery (laparoscopic cholecystectomy, jet hole surgery) for gallbladder disease. He also carries out open and keyhole hernia repair surgery and excision of skin lesions, lumps and bumps.
