Mr Vibhash Mishra

I am a consultant urological surgeon at Royal Free Hospital, London where, besides my clinical duties, I am closely involved in undergraduate medical education at the UCL Medical School. I qualified in India prior to completing a six-year rotation in urology in London including the last two years as a fellow in Female and Reconstructive Urology at the prestigious Institute of Urology at UCLH, London. My main interests are urinary incontinence and bladder dysfunction, but I also look after patients with haematuria, bladder tumour, peno-scrotal problems, prostate disorders, urethral stricture and recurrent UTI. I believe medicine is more of an art than science and that care must be provided with gentleness, sensitivity and respect. I consider my listening ability and easy approachability as my two greatest assets. I am calm and unhurried and explain the pros and cons of any recommended treatment at length in a comprehensible language. Consequently, my patients strike an instant rapport with me and leave the consultation knowing exactly how to contact me directly in case of any problems. I live in Watford with my obstetrician wife and two daughters and enjoy music, cinema and sports.
