GMC reg: 7092313I am a Consultant ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) Surgeon with specialist expertise in thyroid and parathyroid surgery and laryngology , focusing on the assessment and management of voice and swallowing disorders. Alongside these subspecialist areas, I provide comprehensive care for a wide range of general ENT conditions, including nasal obstruction , nasal polyps , glue ear , tonsillitis , adenoidal disease , hearing loss , and tinnitus . I treat both adults and children . My clinical practice is centred on delivering personalised, evidence-based care that improves each patient's quality of life. I believe high-quality care starts with listening. Understanding how symptoms affect my patients’ daily lives enables me to recommend the most appropriate treatment—whether that involves watchful waiting, therapy, medical management, or surgery. I prioritise clear communication , shared decision-making , and continuity of care , ensuring that patients feel fully informed and supported at every stage. am currently a Consultant ENT Surgeon at the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust . After completing a law degree , I went on to study medicine at Newcastle University . I undertook my foundation and core surgical training in London and the South East , before joining the Mersey Higher Surgical Training Programme in ENT , where I gained wide-ranging experience across the specialty. I hold a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS ORL-HNS) and am listed on the General Medical Council’s Specialist Register for Otolaryngology . My advanced training has focused on thyroid and parathyroid surgery , benign head and neck conditions , and laryngology .

While I manage all aspects of ENT, my particular areas of focus include: Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery Diagnosis and surgical management of benign and malignant thyroid nodules, multinodular goitre, Graves’ disease, and hyperparathyroidism. Voice Disorders Including hoarseness, vocal fold paralysis, benign vocal cord lesions, and voice care for professional voice users. I have undertaken additional training in this field, completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Voice Pedagogy at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David in 2021. Swallowing Difficulties (Dysphagia) Evaluation and treatment of oropharyngeal and upper oesophageal swallowing problems, including balloon dilatation techniques where appropriate. Using advanced diagnostic tools and modern surgical techniques, I offer a full care pathway—from initial consultation through to treatment , surgery (when required), and post-treatment rehabilitation .
