This information is provided by Mr Thorwald Springer.
I graduated from the University of Medical Sciences in Poland in 1997 where I developed a keen interest in Orthopaedics. I became a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and registered with the GMC in 2008.
I worked at the Golden Jubilee NHS Hospital in Glasgow from 2009 – 2011 where I completed my Fellowship in Orthopaedics.
I worked for Practice Plus Group Hospital, Barlborough, as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon between 2009 – 2011, before returning to Poland to work in the University Clinical Hospital in Poznan, Poland.
I resumed my work at PPG Barlborough in 2017 where I regularly carry out hip and knee replacement surgeries as well as knee arthroscopies. I have a special interest in Revision Hip surgery.
I believe the best outcome for patients can only be achieved when decisions are carefully considered and evidence based, with absolute focus on patient choice.
