Dr Evans was appointed Consultant in Pain Medicine at South Bucks NHS Trust in 2003. He was appointed the role of Clinical Lead in January 2019 - January 2024 when he left his NHS post. He trained in pain medicine at Oxford and St Barts, London. He became the Regional Advisor in Pain Medicine for the Oxford Deanery in 2007. He is a member of the British Pain Society and a Founding Fellow of Pain Medicine at The Royal College of Anaesthetists.
