Dr. Tom Hollingworth is an experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist and the Clinical Lead for Gastroenterology at University Hospital Southampton. He provides expert, compassionate, and highly personalised care for all general and complex gastrointestinal conditions. Recognised for his specialist expertise, Dr. Hollingworth frequently receives regional and national referrals. He has a particular subspecialist interest in neurogastroenterology, managing functional gut issues and complex motility disorders. Endoscopically he has received bowel-scope accreditation and skilled in performing upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopies. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Hollingworth is one of four consultant physicians leading one of only 12 integrated intestinal failure units  in the UK. He is also an elected member of the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) Neurogastroenterology and Clinical Services and Standards Committee.
