Ms Tereze Laing

Ms Laing is a fellowship trained hand surgeons with extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the hand and upper extremity. After completing her plastic surgery training she completed two years of hand fellowships developing expertise in both surgical and non-surgical management of traumatic injuries of the upper limb, complex reconstruction, peripheral nerve surgery, joint arthroplasty and the management of children's hand differences. Ms Laing has successfully completed the British Diploma in Hand Surgery, the European Diploma in Hand Surgery and is a recognised trainer of surgeons undertaking these qualifications. She is a member of the Education and Training Committee for the BSSH (British Society of Surgery for the Hand) and is reviewer for the European Journal of Hand Surgery. As a fully trained plastic surgeon she also has extensive experience in diagnosis and management of skin lesions and is a member of the skin cancer multidisciplinary team at Cambridge University Hospital. Ms Laing is committed to providing patient-centred, evidence based care with a focus on restoring function and improving quality of life. She enjoys running and spending time with her family.
