Miss Tejal Patel

Miss Tejal Patel is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon specialising in cornea, cataract and refractive surgery. She is the Corneal and Anterior Segment Lead at Luton & Dunstable University Hospital and undertook advanced corneal fellowship training at Moorfields Eye Hospital, together with further corneal and refractive surgery fellowship training. Her practice includes the management of corneal disease, keratoconus, ocular surface disease and complex cataract. She performs cataract surgery including complex cases and offers lens-based solutions for astigmatism and presbyopia where appropriate. She also has expertise in corneal transplantation, including endothelial keratoplasty.
