Dr Tarun Solanki

I have been a Consultant Physician and Geriatrician in Somerset since 1994.  I have accreditation in General (internal) Medicine and Geriatrics.  I have developed and lead the osteoporosis, fracture liaison  and orthogeriatric service at Musgrove Park Hospital.  I have experience in all aspect of geriatrics and general medicine.  My research interests are related to Vitamin D and its interactions in frail older people,  I am passionate about teaching and training and am an examiner for the MRCP PACES exam.  I am chair of the SW branch of the British Geriatrics Society and Deputy Chair of the England Council of the British Geriatrics Society
