(1990- March 2021), now retired from full time job. I am a recognized NES Appraiser and I am helping the NHS Fife by doing Appraisals for senior staff.
Served as Clinical Director: Women, Children and Clinical Support Services, NHS Fife Acute Unit, Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy (April, 2019-March 2021) and as Clinical Director Women and Children(1998-2006) Clinical Senior Lecturer, School of Biological & Medical Sciences, St Andrews , University of St Andrews, Scotland since 1996, Chair: Standards of Care and Position Statements Group- European Board and College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (EBCOG), Brussels (Since 2017- ) (www.ebcog.org), International UNFPA Consultant for Eastern Europe and Central Asia Region since 2014, Immediate Past President: European Board and College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (EBCOG):(2014-2017) and also as President Elect (2011-2014), Brussels. Vice President Standards (2007-2010) of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG). I was responsible for overseeing work related to guidelines developments at the RCOG, NICE and SIGN. RCOG representative on the Council of Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN), Edinburgh (1998-2015). I hold a post graduate research degree( MD) from the University of Aberdeen, I am fellow of the Royal college of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG), Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (FRCPE), Fellow of the Royal College of Ireland( FRCPI), Honorary Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FACOG), Honorary Fellow of the European College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist (FEBCOG).
