Dr Suraiya Dubash

Dr Suraiya Dubash is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, specialising in lung cancer, thymoma, and thymic malignancies. She also leads the centre's Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) service, having spearheaded its transition to linac-based delivery and established one of the UK's most experienced SBRT and reirradiation programmes. She holds an Honorary Clinical Senior Lectureship at Imperial College London and a PhD in Clinical Cancer Imaging, with research spanning functional imaging (PET/CT and MRI), biomarker development, and AI in oncology. Her clinical expertise encompasses over two decades of systemic therapy — chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy — alongside advanced radiotherapy techniques including IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, DIBH, and stereotactic radiotherapy across Linac and CyberKnife platforms. An active clinical researcher and Principal Investigator on multiple national portfolio trials, Dr Dubash contributes to international guideline development through the ESTRO Lung Focus Group, EORTC, and BTOG. Her work has been recognised with awards from the NCRI, BNMS, and Journal of Nuclear Medicine, and she has published widely in high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
