I am a consultant anaesthetist specialised in chronic pain management. Currently, I am working at Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS trust. I have completed an accredited training scheme in anaesthetics at The Bart’s and the London School of Anaesthesia and was awarded CCT in Anaesthetics in March 2009. Following completion of subspecialty training, I was awarded FFPMRCA by assessment. I am a member and an examiner for the World Institute of Pain. I am also a certified consultant in anaesthetics in Sri Lanka and regularly visit for teaching trainees in anaesthetics and pain management.
