Mr Stuart Robertson

Mr Stuart Robertson is a Consultant Breast Surgeon at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. He consults privately at the Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital in Leamington Spa and the BMI Meriden Hospital in Coventry. He specialises in all aspects of breast problems, and has special interests in breast cancer, breast reconstruction, and cosmetic plastic breast surgery. He is also a fully trained general surgeon. Following qualification at The University of Edinburgh, he was trained in the main teaching hospitals of Edinburgh, Oxford and Hampshire. He was awarded an MD for his research at the Nuffield Department of Surgery in Oxford, which won two international prizes. At the end of his training, he also won a very prestigious National Oncoplastic Breast Surgery Fellowship from the JCST Royal College of Surgeons, providing a wealth of highly specialised additional plastic breast surgery training and experience. Being a breast specialist, trained in both breast disease and plastic breast surgery, Mr Robertson is able to provide a full comprehensive patient-centred breast service. He specialises in rebuilding the breast, often at the same time as removing disease (oncoplastic breast surgery). He is also able to provide the reassurance of a full breast assessment prior to undergoing any procedures with him, such as breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift, or nipple eversion surgery. He also has a special interest in risk-reducing mastectomy and reconstruction, and has won a prize from the Association of Breast Surgeons for a scientific paper on this topic. He is a full member of the Association of Breast Surgeons.
