Qualified from Manchester Medical school in August 1998. General medical training in Manchester, Liverpool, sheffield and Leeds (MRCP 1988, MD 1997, FRCP 1998). Appointed Consultant Endocrinologist 1st November 1997 Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and Honary Senior Lecturer University of Leeds. Member of Society for Endocrinology, American Endocrine Society, American Society for Bone and Mineral Research and Royal Osteoporosis Society. Fellow Royal College of Physicians (past PACES Examiner and CPD reviewer for national and international meetings in Endocrinology). Research interests include: Acromegaly and pituitary diseases, thyroid diseases, osteoporosis and metabolic bone diseases. I retired from the NHS in March 2023 and now consult at Spire Hospital Leeds and Nuffield Hospital in Leeds, two mornings per week.

My clinical interests include thyroid diseases, calcium and metabolic bone diseases, osteoporosis, pituitary diseases and general endocrinology.
