Dr Stephanie Arnold

Dr Stephanie Arnold is a highly experienced consultant dermatologist with a dedicated focus on women's health and vulval dermatology. Dual-registered in both the UK (since 2016) and Australia (since 2015), she brings exceptional depth to diagnosing and managing complex genital skin disorders alongside general skin conditions and skin cancer. Prior to focusing fully on private practice in Dorset and Oxfordshire, Dr Arnold worked in the NHS in Oxford for 15 years, serving as a consultant from 2017. A core highlight of her NHS career was leading the complex vulval joint dermatology and gynaecology oncology service, delivering advanced collaborative care for high-complexity cases. Her clinical foundation includes work at major teaching institutions like the Poche Melanoma Institute in Sydney, rural practice experience, and subspecialist dermatopathology training. Her academic contributions have been recognized with the Australasian College of Dermatologists Travelling Fellowship (2011) and the Florance Bequest (2015). Dr Arnold offers complete dermatological care, from mole checks and skin cancer surgery to laser therapies and the diagnosis and treatment of general dermatology conditions such as acne, rosacea, eczema, and psoriasis. Her subspecialty practice in vulval dermatology includes expert assessment and ongoing management of menopausal genital skin changes, lichen sclerosus, lichen planus, vulval intraepithelial neoplasia (VIN) and Paget's disease of the vulva. Central to her approach is a commitment to patient-centred consultation: she ensures every patient has ample time to share their concerns, feel heard, and fully explore their options.
