GMC reg: 6076541I am a doctor specialising in general surgery for children and babies. I also undertake more complex surgery, such as reconstructions for children born with abnormalities of their intestines or abdominal wall. My NHS practice is based at Great Ormond Street Hospital, where I have been a consultant in Specialist Neonatal and Paediatric Surgery since 2014. I also see private patients at Great Ormond Street. I live in South East London with my wife, who is a Paediatrician, and our two children, who were born in 2010 and 2013. I enjoy cycling and music.

The majority of my practice is based at Great Ormond Street Hospital where I look after children with complex problems. There is a strong emphasis on multidisciplinary team work at Great Ormond Street and I enjoy working alongside colleagues from a variety of different specialities to offer care to the children we look after, particularly those from urology and gastroenterology. As part of my NHS and Private Practice at Great Ormond Street I offer procedures to place feeding tubes (gastrostomies) and perform surgical procedures with gastro-oesophageal reflux. I have a broad experience of managing feeding in children with a wide variety of underlying medical problems and would be delighted to meet with you and your child to discuss this. I perform a large number of procedures using minimal access techniques In addition, I have particular expertise in gastrointestinal surgery. I offer procedures to deal with abnormalities of the intestine and abdominal wall in newborn babies and also contribute to specialist services to treat children with bowel function problems, chronic intestinal pseudo-obstruction and very severe constipation. I have an interest in anorectal anomalies and work with colleagues in a multidisciplinary team offering surgery to girls with Cloacal anomalies.
