Dr Sebastian Zeki is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, one of the UK’s leading tertiary referral centres. He specialises in diseases of the oesophagus and upper gastrointestinal tract, with particular expertise in reflux disorders, Barrett’s oesophagus and complex endoscopic therapy. Dr Zeki completed his medical training in London and undertook specialist gastroenterology training in London, Cambridge and Tokyo. He has developed advanced skills in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, including the management of early neoplastic lesions using advanced endoscopic resection techniques. Alongside his clinical work, Dr Zeki is actively involved in research and service development. His work focuses on improving the understanding and management of oesophageal conditions, including reflux disease and premalignant disorders.
