I offer knee and hip surgery at the Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital and work with the excellent allied staff there to provide bespoke care for all my patients. I hold the post of Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Hinchingbrooke Hospital and Peterborough City Hospital. After my undergraduate degree and foundation years, I opted for registrar training in orthopaedics, completing the appropriate rotations at Guy’s, St Thomas’s and various other hospitals in London and the South East, culminating in an award of a Certificate of Completion of Training from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2016. I then went on to complete an International Fellowship at the Exeter Knee Reconstruction Unit in the historic Devonshire city of Exeter. Next, came a second Fellowship at the Frimley Park Hospital in Camberley, following which I assumed my current post in the NHS. Along with the awards of MRCSEd, MS (Orth) and FRCS (Tr and Orth), I also hold a Master’s degree in Orthopaedics and have contributed to several peer-reviewed journals and presented numerous papers to national and international audiences. Driven by a personal love of sport, I couldn’t resist adding a Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine. As well as aspiring to provide the highest quality, personalised care for my patients, a passion for education prompted me to become involved in teaching medical students. As a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Educators, I enjoy regular involvement in the training of local undergrad students from Cambridge University’s prestigious School of Clinical Medicine, and providing further training for the overseas registrars on the Hinchingbrooke Hospital’s popular international exchange programme.
