Mr Sanjiv Manjure is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip and knee conditions, with a particular focus on sports injuries and joint replacement surgeries. He is dedicated to providing patient-centred care, believing that involving patients in their treatment decisions leads to the best possible outcomes. Mr Manjure holds an impressive range of qualifications, including MB BS, MS, MCh, FRCS (General Surgery), FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics), and a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) in Trauma & Orthopaedics. He completed his higher surgical training in the South East Thames Region, including the renowned Guy’s and St Thomas’ rotation, and further developed his expertise at Guy’s Hospital’s knee unit, focusing on sports injuries, revision joint replacement, and complex knee surgery. Since his appointment as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Bedford Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in 2005, Mr Manjure has introduced innovative techniques such as computer-navigated knee replacement surgery. He has also played a key role in establishing an integrated hip and knee unit for complex joint replacement procedures. His dedication to clinical excellence has been recognised with two Clinical Excellence Awards from the Trust. In addition to his clinical work, Mr Manjure contributes to the medical community as an MRCS examiner for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
