Originally from Kent, he qualified from University College London Medical School and went on to train in units in London and the South East. He has been awarded a PhD (St George’s) exploring cardiovascular risk and is the Aortic Aneurysm Lead, Complex Aortic Lead and Research Lead for East Kent Vascular Services. He has published over 25 peer-reviewed papers in the field and presented his work nationally and internationally. He is the Clinical Director for AAA screening in Kent and Medway. Mr Bahia offers consultations and treatments for aortic aneurysmal disease, carotid artery and lower limb arterial disease, thoracic outlet disease and vascular malformations, with a particular interest in the minimally invasive treatment of venous disease.
