I graduated in 2012 with Honours at Cardiff University. During my medical training, I was also awarded a First-Class degree in neuroscience. I completed my foundation training in South Wales and core medical training in London. I then did my higher clinical neurology training at Cambridge, the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. I also completed a Masters in Neuroscience at the University of Cambridge in 2018 where I studied the cellular and molecular mechanisms implicated in neurodegeneration. I am a Consultant Neurologist with clinical expertise in general neurology, headache, movement disorders, tremor, multiple sclerosis, dementia, epilepsy, peripheral neuropathy, neuromuscular disorders, muscle disease and acute neurological disorders. I have a subspecialty interest in headache and migraine with NHS experience in running refractory headache clinics. I am a member of the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) and I sit on the RCP board for the neurology exit examinations and the specialty question writing group for the MRCP (UK) examinations. I have also published articles in peer-reviewed journals on epilepsy, Parkinson's disease and peripheral neuropathy and I am the first author of a book entitled 'How to Pass Finals: Single Best Answers in Medicine.'
