Mr Saif Salih

I graduated from the University of Cambridge with an undergraduate degree in 2003, I then went medical school at the University of Oxford. I started my MD Thesis concerning 'The genotoxicity of cobalt chrome nanoparticles across cellular barriers'. before starting Higher Surgical Training in Sheffield and submitted to University of Bristol in 2011. I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (Tr & Orth). I spent one year in a post CCT fellowship in Hip Preservation at University College Hospital London (Johan Witt, 2017-18) followed by one year as Cavendish fellow (2018-2019). I was appointed to a substative Consultant appointment at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and started in September 2019. I perform primary, complex and revision hip replacement and I will see and advise on young adult hip and hip preservation surgery. At present I perform hip arthroscopy and pelvic osteotomies only at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.
