Said Mohamed is a Consultant Laparoscopic Colorectal and General Surgeon, with expertise in treating colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease as well as benign colorectal conditions such as haemorrhoids, anal fissure and anal fistulae. Mr Mohamed qualified in medicine from The Queen’s College, University of Oxford and completed his surgical training at the London Postgraduate Deanery. He obtained further advanced training in colorectal surgery at the University College Hospital and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital. Mr. Mohamed is an advanced endoscopist and specialises in the treatment of large colorectal polyps and early rectal cancer. He is an accredited Bowel Scope screening endoscopist and is the Endoscopy Lead for training at the Croydon University Hospital NHS Trust. In addition to his colorectal expertise, he specialises in repairs of all types of abdominal wall herniae including abdominal wall reconstruction and component separation for large incisional herniae.
