Mr Ruairidh Crawford

Mr Crawford grew up in mid-Sussex and was awarded an MBBS undergraduate medical degree with an intercalated Bachelor of Science degree from Imperial College London in 2009. After completing his Core Surgical Training in Kent, Surrey & Sussex Deanery he pursued his specialist urological training in London Deanery. Having gained competence in general and core urology he subspecialised in Andrology and urethral reconstruction at St George’s Hospital. Mr Crawford has published papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented work at national and international meetings.  Mr Crawford has been practising as an NHS consultant at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust since 2020, where he is the Clinical Governance lead. As well as his subspecialty interest in penile and male urethral disorders, he is leading on the delivery and training of prostate cancer diagnostics. Personal interests Mr Crawford is a keen golfer, and also also enjoys skiing and tennis.
