Rob Pollock is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore (RNOH) specialising in complex hip and knee replacement as well as bone and soft tissue tumours. He is a core member of the London Sarcoma Service and was head of department from 2017-2021. He is Treasurer of the British Orthopaedic Oncology Society and is proud to be hosting the annual conference of the European MusculoSkeletal Oncology Society on London in 2022 . After graduating from University College London he trained in various London teaching hospitals including UCLH, St Mary's and the RNOH. He then did fellowships in Sydney, Australia (Paul Stalley) and Denver, USA (Wade Smith). In 2008 he was awarded the ABC travelling fellowship to North America where he visited several centres of excellence, gave lectures and met some of the high flyers in American orthopaedics. Mr Pollock has published over one hundred research papers in his field of expertise and regularly presents research at national and international meetings.
