Dr Rebecca Schofield

Appointed as a Cardiology Consultant in NWAngliaFT in 2017 until 2024. Consultant at Royal Free from 2024 to present. Trained in Manchester, USA, Ireland and London. Multi-modality Cardiac Imager and general Cardiologist.  My clinical focus is medically managed coronary disease, valvular heart disease, heart muscle disease, cardio-obstetrics and cardio-oncology. I am interested in pathway redesign, equitable access to healthcare and CVD prevention. I have a history of collaborative working with Primary Care and training/education/empowerment of AHP's. I have been on the executive committee of the BCS Imaging Council, previous elected BSCI Committee Member, BSE Educational Committee. I am a past president of the BNCS. I have been an Honorary Lecturer for the University of Leicester, I have a PG Cert in Medical Education. Previous roles have included secondary care lead for the East of England Cardiac Network and deputy divisional director for Medicine at NWAFT.
