Mr Rahul Gore is a Consultant Gynaecologist and endometriosis specialist in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, with expertise in advanced laparoscopic (keyhole) and robotic gynaecological surgery. He sees private patients at Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital and Wells Health Fordcombe Hospital. His NHS practice is at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, where he works within its BSGE-accredited specialist endometriosis centre. Mr Gore helps women with endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain and heavy or painful periods. He recognises how these problems can affect work, relationships and everyday life. Consultations focus on understanding the symptoms, explaining the findings and helping you choose a treatment plan that reflects patients priorities. He qualified in medicine in 2006 and completed postgraduate training in obstetrics and gynaecology in 2010. He is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and holds the European Diploma in Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgery (GESEA). His advanced surgical training took place at the BSGE-accredited Colchester Endometriosis Centre, which treats severe and deeply infiltrating endometriosis. Mr Gore is an accredited robotic surgeon with the British and Irish Association of Robotic Gynaecological Surgeons (BIARGS). His practice includes endometriosis excision, laparoscopic and robotic hysterectomy, fibroid removal, ovarian cyst surgery and hysteroscopy. Alongside patient care, he contributes to surgical training and is a clinical examiner for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He holds a Fellowship in Innovation from the University of Suffolk and is Co-Principal Investigator and Programme Coordinator for AIM4SafeBaby, an Innovate UK award-winning women's health research programme developed with the University of East Anglia. Mr Gore's special interests include: Endometriosis, including deep endometriosis: assessment, medical treatment and laparoscopic excision of endometriosis. Adenomyosis: investigating painful or heavy periods and discussing medical and surgical treatment options. Chronic pelvic pain: assessment of persistent pelvic pain, painful periods and pain during sex. Fibroids: treatment of heavy bleeding and pressure symptoms, including myomectomy to remove fibroids while keeping the womb. Ovarian cysts and endometriomas: assessment and keyhole cyst removal, aiming to preserve healthy ovarian tissue where appropriate. Heavy, irregular or abnormal bleeding: investigation and personalised treatment, including hormonal options, the Mirena coil and endometrial ablation when suitable. Diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy: examining the inside of the womb with a fine telescope, taking biopsies and removing polyps or fibroids within the womb cavity. Advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery: minimally invasive surgery for complex non-cancerous gynaecological conditions, including hysterectomy. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS): assessment and management of irregular periods and associated gynaecological symptoms. Second opinions: reviewing diagnoses, scan findings and treatment choices for endometriosis and other complex gynaecological conditions. Treatment is tailored to symptoms, previous care, fertility wishes and personal preferences. Surgical and non-surgical options are discussed where appropriate.
