Professor Neil Tolley

I graduated from Cardiff in 1982 and underwent specialist ENT training in London, Australia, South Africa and the US. I was appointed Consultant Surgeon to St Mary’s Hospital, London in 1994.  I pioneered Head & Neck robotic surgery in the U.K. where I was the first Surgeon to use robotic techniques for the treatment of cancer, sleep apnoea and for thyroid and parathyroid surgery. I have a national and international reputation in my field and was formerly TPD for North Thames.  I am presently SAC liaison member for the West Midlands. I have in excess of 200 peer-reviewed publications and am author of numerous book chapters.  I have supervised several PhD, MD and MSc students. In 2016 I was conferred Professor at Imperial College, London. I am presently a co-opted member on the BAETS executive.
