GMC reg: 2845652As a London Liver specialist, I see patients with a wide range of liver diseases. I have a strong background in all aspects of liver disease (hepatology) including alcohol misuse disorders as well as >20 years experience of looking after liver transplant patients. Professor Kevin Moore trained in Medicine at King’s College Hospital in London, qualifying in 1983. He later specialised in gastroenterology as well as clinical pharmacology and therapeutics gaining a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) in Gastroenterology, Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics as well as General Internal Medicine. In his early career he was registrar in hepatolology and MRC Training Fellow at the King’s College Liver Unit, before becoming Senior Registrar at the Hammersmith Hospital, Royal Postgraduate Medical School, a position he held until being appointed as a MRC Senior Clinical Fellow and Consultant Physician and hepatologist at the Royal Free Hospital, and is now Professor of Hepatology. He looked after liver transplant patients both before and after liver transplantation for 20 years, and now sees general liver patients with the whole spectrum of problems from fatty liver, alcoholic cirrhosis to autoimmune liver disease or tumours.
