He then moved to Scotland and completed his higher surgical training in Orthopaedics, He later was awarded Membership with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2006 and became a Trauma and Orthopaedic Fellow of the College in 2011 after completing his six-year orthopaedic training in Scotland. Prof. Jariwala obtained a MCh (super-specialist) degree from the University of Dundee and won the prestigious 'Ian Smillie Award' for the best overall student for the year. In 2016 he completed a MD at the University of Dundee investigating the kinematics of Shoulder Replacement. Prof. Jariwala further developed his expertise in the management of upper limb injuries and conditions at the world-renowned tertiary referral unit at Wrightington Hospital in Wigan.

His clinical practice focuses exclusively on the treatment and management of conditions affecting the shoulder, elbow and wrist and hand. He typically sees patients with shoulder pain arising conditions such as frozen shoulder, rotator cuff injury, shoulder instability and shoulder arthritis or post-traumatic shoulder pain. His elbow practice encompasses patients with elbow arthrits, tennis elbow and golfer's elbow nerve issues around elbow and hand and many wrist and hand disorders. He regularly performs surgical procedures for the management of Shouldder, Elbow, Wrist and Hand conditions. He also manages patients with carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, Dupuytren's Contracture and De Quervain's Syndrome.
