Professor Prof Paul Brogan

I lead a successful academic programme of work in vasculitis and autoinflammatory disease at the Institute of Child Health (UCL), in concert with a world leading clinical service for these rare diseases at GOSH. I established the GOSH Autoinflammation Centre of Excellence (1.10.20), driving translatable research and innovation at GOSH and UCL by delivering novel genomic diagnostics, targeted therapeutics for autoinflammation via clinical trials, gene therapy, close patient engagement, shaping national policy via NICE, and training clinicians and scientists   I have written over 220 scientific papers, 4 textbooks, and several international book chapters. I specialise in rare inflammatory diseases of the young, particularly periodic fevers and vasculitis. I am the UK's first and only Professor of Paediatric Vasculitis
